Binding Grid View based on dates

Question

 Hi all,

  Recently I ahve been assigned a task that make use of dates and months. I have a 2 grid view(s) which has some data which belongs to the user. This has date range (from-to) which is also shown in grid view. Now one grid view needs to be binded at the dates of this month means latest month say "MAY". The from-to range can only be off MAY and the other is there in which previous month's data needs to be reflected (APRIL) and dates of April should be there in it. So my point is how can i filter the dates accordingly that one grid view gets binded on April and the other on May.
Hope I have made my problem cleared...
Will wait for precious suggestions.
