Best way to change control while running

Question

I need to change a control to a new one in a window while running. I have a toolbar at the top, treeview and listview in the middle, and some status at the bottom. But I need to change the listview to some other control (depending on user interaction). What is the best way change the control while running. Best regrads, Vandre Pind
