Beautiful applications

Question

Visuals are incredibly important with new applications these days, I've been developing on PerfectMind (a WPF platform) and I've garnered a great response from my end users after building appliations with RUI's, responses I never really used to get before WPF came along.

Have any of you experienced the same thing? The same type of appreciation for 3d graphics and better animations in your applications?
