Back Button - last page load

Question

Hi,

I have a web form with a textbox requesting a password. If an invalid password is entered an error messaage appears prompting the user to reenter the password. IF they then enter the correct password the next page is displayed.

At this point if I hit the back button, the text box contains the correct password but the error message is still displayed.

Is there a way I can avoid the error message still being displayed?
