Azure VM Restore

Question

Hi Friends,

 

I have requirement to perform azure backup failover testing. That is, we have an VM which is undergoing scheduled backup with success status. Now i would need to restore the VM from the latest restore point to cross check the backup status.

 

i.e The existing primary VM will be on and shound be untouched.  Using the latest restore point, a new VM should be built.

 

My query is, will there be IP\ any other resource conflict ? will there be any service distruption to the primary VM?
