Autohiding Controls

Question

Can anyone help me? I am trying to figure out how to add autohiding functionality to a tree view control I have added to a form in VB.Net. I would essentially like to set up the control so that it will autohide but the user can click on the pushpin to remove the functionality. I can't find any reference on how to do this anywhere I have looked.
