attendance calculation using dropdownbox in datagridview c#

Question

hai friends

please help me to calculate the attendance for students in windows forms using C#.
 
    the monthly report should be shown from database into datagridview using windows forms in c#

when i click on particular day coloumn for example jan month 1st date , it has to show a dropdownbox containing  P and A

P- present  and A- absent

after entering the attendance details the data has to be stored in the database after clicking on update button
