Assigning assets for SQL Server occasions - dba?
Jan 2 2018 7:51 AM
Hi,
I have an inquiry with respect to assigning assets for SQL Server 2008 R2. We a have physical server Windows 2008 R2 with three establishments of SQL Server 2008 R2 for Production, test and improvement. The server has 64GB of RAM and 24 centers. In the event that we need to dispense particular measure of assets to particular case, would we be able to do it? For example, we need distribute 32 GB and 12 centers for generation occurrence, and 12 GB and 6 centers each for test and advancement.
Since every one of the three examples are on the same physical server, we don't need the test and improvement cases to devour a greater number of assets than we need them to. Is there an approach to set it in the server or in SQL Server?
Thanks and Regards
sireesha.
