Hi,

I am Creating asp.net web form. I created two screens one screen that contains textboxes and a button and other screen contains gridview . My Question is how to add textbox values from one screen to the gridview in other screen?? i can do for same Screen bt im not getting for two screens
pls help me... Thanks in Advance..

Control State
Hidden fields
Cookies
Query Strings
Server side state management techniques
Application State
Session State
You can use any one it is easy.

Hi,

Raja answered very well - you need to use suitable option.

Still there is another option available which one you can use in this scenario - Cross Page Posting. It means one page posting data to another page. You can get default1.aspx control value in default2.aspx page. Let's have a look how it need to implement:

Add a button with PostBackUrl property. In this property you need provide to which page you to post data(change as per your page).

Go to second page(screen) code behind file and find out first page(screen) control values using below code:

// TextBox1 is ID property of Textbox which is present in first page(screen)
TextBox txtVal;
txtVal = (TextBox)PreviousPage.FindControl("TextBox1");
Label1.Text = "Your City: " + txtVal.Text;
