asp.net initiating a text message

Question

Does anyone know if there's a way for an asp.net web page that my mobile device is viewing to have a link that would initiate a text message similar to how a mailto: link would initiate the email client? We don't want to send the text message from our page, we just want to try and fire up whatever text message app they have on their mobile to do it. Is that possible? Thanks.
