I thought sending via friends when they visit India is good choice. However, none of my friends are coming to India this year.

I'm sure Canada shipping costs are same as US.
1. By air, its not cheap.
2. By ship. It will take 6-12 weeks.
3. By friend - someone you know can take with them
Its probably much easier to find those books and buy in India itself :)
