Alternative of c# window services

Question

Hello all,

 

   I am having a window service that read an email replies. But sometimes the window service stops particularly and due to this i am loosing some of my important replies. So at this stage i am not able to rely on my window service and i have to check my emails from email app also. So is there any alternative which can work same as window services which will work efficiently?
