Alternative for .Net framework deprecated property

Question

Page.SmartNavigation 

is the deprecated property of Page class for which MS stopped providing support after .Net 2.0

It was responsible for maintaining the focus and scroll position of after postback and it used to avoid full refresh of page by using partial postback.

 

My question is, can anyone provide reference to any library or any source code which can help to achieve this. I dont want to put much efforts in RnD as I am left with very short amount of time.
