Allow Decimal & dot(.) only Once in a Textbox

Question

Hi, I need a Javascript Function that has the definition for allowing the decimal numbers along with a dot(.) only Once, Also the function has to be a parameterized function so that I don't have to write the function for every textbox I have. Please Help. Thank You
