Advantage Database Server

I have a desktop Application which is running and function on SQL SERVER 2005 , and my application does not run on Windows8/10 as with sql server 2005 Now i want to change the database from SQL SERVER 2005 to Advantage Database Server (localhost) , my code is in c sharp with visual studio I do not know about Advantage database server , do i need to change the code (like c sharp ) as well or just i have to change the database.
