ABout Using ADODB in VS.Net 2013

Question

Hi

  I have developed my applications using ADODB and MySql as database. I have used  MySql ODBC driver for that.

I wish to know the status of ADODB. I am confused about using this ADODB. Now  i have installed VS2013. Shall i still continue using ADODB and MySql ODBC driver and use of DSN. 

Also i want to know what should i use if i wish to shift to MsSql which is installed while installing VS2013.

 I request you to please reply me asap, as i need to take decision for upgrading my old Software to New version of VS2013.
