He authored the book "Getting started with Bicep", coauthored the book "RDS - The Complete Guide" and published the free e-books "Azure Virtual Desktop Handbook: Security Fundamentals" and "Azure Virtual Desktop Migration Guide for Remote Desktop Services". He works at Wortell, a Cloud integrator company based in the Netherlands, where he focuses on Azure Virtual Desktop, Remote Desktop Services, Azure, and Infrastructure as Code using ARM & Bicep Templates. Esther has worked in different roles and functions as an IT consultant since she finished her Master's degree in Computer Science in 1997. She soon discovered that End User Computing combined servers, desktops, and user experience technologies into one and specialized in virtualization solutions, like Microsoft Remote Desktop Services and Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops. She works as a Solutions Architect at cognition IT, combining her passion for designing and implementing Citrix solutions with her newfound love for DevOps automation, using PowerShell, REST APIs, and JSON payloads to automate both on-premises and Cloud Infrastructure as Code solutions.
