This blog describes the use of the Button Web part in SharePoint Online. In SharePoint Online, the Button web part is a useful tool for adding custom-labeled buttons with links to internal or external pages.
Adding Button Web part in SharePoint Online Page
1. To add the Button web part to your Site Page, enter edit mode by selecting "Edit" on the top right of the page, click on the circled "+" icon, and choose the Button web part from the available options.
2. After inserting the web part, the editing options such as Move web part (moves web part to another section), Edit web part (opens property pane with further editing options), Duplicate web, and Delete web part will be available. To open the property pane, click on the Edit web part option.
3. In the property pane, the following options are available,
- Label - Insert the Label Text in the Label Box.
- Link - Insert internal or external links to the button
- Button Alignment - To change the button's alignment to Left, Center, and Right.
4. Please note that the color of the button in the Button web part is determined by the color of the current site theme and cannot be customized separately from the site theme.
