Introduction
In 2016, Microsoft introduced new capabilities in SharePoint Online team sites including integration with Office 365 Groups. The users can experience modern UI with the lists, libraries, Web parts and while editing the page in the team sites. Please read the document for more information.
News headlines Webpart
Navigate to Office 365 SharePoint team site - https://c986.sharepoint.com/sites/VijaiAnand/.
Click Settings icon and then click Add a page.
Enter the page name and then click + icon. Click News headlines.

By default, 3 pieces of news will be displayed. There are no Webpart properties available to configure this Webpart. Publish the page.

Click Add. You will be navigated to add new page. Enter the page title and add some contents to the page, as shown below. Publish the page.
Navigate to the page, where you have added news headlines Webpart and you can see a new headline added to the news headlines.
Result
News headlines Webpart is added to the page and published, as shown below.
