Programmers! Keep the Flame Alive

Flame

Today is a special day. Like every year, the 256th day of the year is dedicated to programmers. We are among the few to have a day for us, thanks to our contributions and our sense of community, which makes us stronger.

We are in a field that changes constantly. Every day, something new and interesting is created. Developers and communities around the world can relate to this. We learn and experiment. Others blog, make a video, or talk about these new and interesting things in meetups. This powerful passion and drive helps every programmer, whether you have just started learning or a professional with decades of experience.

Let's take the Olympics as an example. The flame that burns bright is a symbol that brings everyone together. Similarly, in the programming world, each programmer is this flame. In recent years, you might have noticed that even non-developers attend our meetups and have even asked questions. I have personally seen a second-year medicine student drop out to join a computer science course. Programming feels like home, and everyone is welcome.

The popularity of open source and the ever-increasing number of communities is a testament that the flame in every programmer that we call passion is our real power. As long as this flame is alive and shared without limitations, each day is the Programmer's day.

So, let’s continue to contribute, share, and spread the passion. These are as important as writing codes.

Happy Programmers Day!
