Package 'Microsoft SQL Management Studio Package' Failed To Load

In this blog, you will learn how to solve the "Package Microsoft SQL Management Studio Package Failed To Load" error.

I got this weird error and searched a lot on the internet. Then, I found a solution for it. So, I thought to post here, so that anyone can use the following steps to get rid of it.

 

Follow the below-mentioned steps:

1. Run regedit.
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server.
3. Right click on it and delete.
4. You can see, it's deleted from treeview.
5. Restart your PC/Laptop.
6. After restarting, start SSMS i.e. SQL Management Studio.
7. Few messages would pop up. Take action as per your requirement.
8. This is how it will run again.
