Microsoft 365 is a new enterprise solution that is considered the best solution for organizational transformation by helping in securing the work environments. Microsoft 365 is designed not only for enterprises but also for Small Medium Businesses (SMB).
Components of Microsoft 365
Microsoft 365 is comprised of different components. Actually, we can say that Microsoft 365 is a combination of its components. Three main components are there, as mentioned below.
- Office 365 Enterprise
- Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS)
- Windows 10 Enterprise
Let us discuss each component.
Office 365 Enterprise
This component of Microsoft 365 helps the organizations transform their work operation to the legal, licensed version of Office Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Others) with fully enabled services that one organization is in need of, i.e. email, storage collaborative apps, etc.
Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS)
The most productive service with Microsoft 365, I feel this component helps the organizations make everyday tasks more productive. The component helps through Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM), using Microsoft Intune. Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) helps us control our devices via Mobile Device Management (MDM). As a result, the environment turns out to be more secure.
Windows 10 Enterprise
This component helps the organization grow into a very productive one. It helps the organizations remain on the latest build of the operating system (Windows 10 Enterprise) even if the organizations are on older versions of Windows, i.e., Windows 8.1, 8, 7, etc.
