In this blog we are going to see how to undeclare Record in SharePoint 2010.
In this blog we are going to see how to undeclare Record in SharePoint 2010. In SharePoint 2010 you can declare a document as a record by activating the feature "In Place Records Management".
Once you declare the document as a record you could see a padlock attached to the icon.
Click on the ECB (Edit Control Block) drop down menu and select the Compliance Details option.
Compliance Details wizard will pop up. In the Record status you could see an option Undeclare Record.
Click on Undeclare Record and click Close.
The record will be undeclared.
