How to get SharePoint Version without coding

This blog gives you the idea to get installed sharepoint version with out coding, even access to Central administration.

In this blog, I am going to show you how to get the SharePoint version with out doing any programming, Central Administration or admin activities.

 

This is a simple solution as far as I know,

 

 https://myspworksin.sharepoint.com/_vti_pvt/service.cnf

 

When you access the url, after the authentication we will get the below message,

  

 vti_extendedversion gives the version of the current SharePoint environemnt. Here 16.0.0.1211 is the sharepoint Online version.

 

Installed version of my local SharePoint site environment is
