Welcome to a new blog on how to configure the new look and feel of SharePoint libraries in SharePoint 2013 and Office 365. As we are aware, a new look and feel of the SharePoint list and libraries are present in the product, which you can choose if you want to have or not.
Usually the old users who are comfortable with the old UI do not want to go for the new one, and similarly, a few users love the new look and feel, so today we will see how to configure them based on the different needs of the users.

Let’s see how to configure it.
- Click Library tab and subsequently on Library settings.
- Under the Library settings, click ‘Advanced Settings’.
- Under the List experience, choose the following.
- Default experience set by my administrator- If you select this option, the default look and feel will be applied, which is based on the admin settings on the central administration.
- New experience- This will show you a new experience.
- Classic experience- This will show you a classic experience.
This configuration will assist you to change the experience of your library as per your and your users' requirements.
