Apple's uses own mapping technology which comes with some incredible advantages.
I mean Apple has ditched Google provided maps in iOS 6 and has introduced its
own maps. It show 3D maps, real-time traffic information and more.
One of the interesting features of this app, you can see selected major metro
areas from the air with photo-realistic, interactive 3D views.
iOS finally has
turn-by-turn navigation. Its rivals have had this feature for some time, but now
you do, too, on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Turn-by-turn navigation
offers you a voice-guided satellite navigation system inside your iOS Device.

The search box at the top is a good place to start—perhaps by entering the name
of a new and interesting restaurant. An expandable info sheet at the bottom
shows the address, opening hours, ratings and reviews, images, directions and
other information.
