Google captures 40% of Total Online Ad Spend in USA
In a report, eMarketer reported
that Google captures nearly 41% of total ad dollars spent in the United States.
While Google gained shares, both Yahoo and AOL lost their shares.
After Google (40.8%) and Yahoo (11%), Facebook (7%) has
become #3 company in the list followed by Microsoft (6.1%) and AOL at 6.1% and
2.3% respectively.
According to the same report, Google is expected to capture
almost 45% of the US market in year 2012. While Microsoft (7.2%) and Facebook
(7.8%) are expected to grow, Yahoo (9.7%) is expected to lose share to its
counterparts.
