Get Free Windows Azure Account

Microsoft recently changed their billing for Windows Azure account. Now you can get a cloud environment with all software, database and everything else for free.

I am getting started with cloud hosting and Windows Azure. I tried a few months back with Microsoft but at that time, you had to pay.

Here comes the good news.

Now you can get a free Windows Azure account that will let you host your applications in a cloud computing settings and let you use services and database.

All you need is a credit card to sign-up. Your card will not be charged unless you reach the limit. When you sign-up, you will see what options are free in the left side bar. I think they are enough for us developers to do our work.

As soon as it is approved (takes about 15 minutes), you will see various options like this screen below.




It is also good for learning purposes.
