Basically, Pages and Site Pages both are OOTB libraries provided by SharePoint then what is a difference between these two libraries?
Pages Library
- A Pages library is a document library which contains content pages for a publishing site.
- We can create following pages using Pages Library.
- Page
- Article Page
- Welcome Page
- Error Page

Site Pages
- We can create the below pages using Site Pages.
- Wiki Page
