Categories of Apps in SharePoint 2013

In this blog i would like to share the categories of apps in SharePoint 2013.

App is classified as four main categories and each category of app will support its corresponding Office products.

1. App for SharePoint
2. Task pane App for Office
3. Content App for Excel
4. Mail App for Office
