What is Microsoft Fluid Framework?
- A Microsoft collaboration at each level to solve customer problems and transforming ways of working in organizations.

- It will have common need workflows in the form of components.
- Fluid components come in different forms – Tables, Charts, Tasks, Lists, and more.
- Action Items - Keep track of tasks, assignees, and timelines in a table.
- Mentions - Tag your colleagues using the @ symbol anywhere so they can easily find relevant sections.
- Tables - Create a table that suits your needs.
- Dates - Add dates to easily keep track of upcoming deadlines and highlight overdue tasks.
- Checklists - Ticks items off as you complete them.
- Agendas - Build out a collaborative list of meeting agenda items.
How to create a new document with Fluid Framework,
- In the preview, sign in using a work or school account that includes OneDrive for Business.
- First-time using Fluid Framework, select Start Collaborating. Otherwise, select Create a new + icon on the left-hand side.
- Add a Title and create your project as a file in OneDrive for Business or SharePoint
- Select Create.
Work Together
- Fluid canvases are live and connected, allowing for near-instantaneous collaboration. Your edits will be visible immediately to anyone else who has access to the file
- Everyone can contribute simultaneously, allowing everyone to fully participate in the meeting and ensuring more perspectives are gathered. Use tables or lists to track suggestions, add emojis to react to ideas, and comment in-line to ask questions or give feedback.
Action Items are represented in table format with a check/uncheck functionality:
The table has header row separators and rows. Right-clicking shows different options on the header row and content row.
Person component has a search feature to find people/users from your Office 365 AD users/groups.
If you have no access to a group, it will notify the owner of the group.
