How to Download and Install the .NET Developer Framework?

Microsoft .NET Framework is a Windows-only version of .NET for building client and server applications.

This article will explain the steps to download and install the .NET Framework on your PC.

Follow the below steps,

Step 1. Click here to navigate to the .NET Framework downloads page.

Step 2. Scroll down to Supported versions.

Step 3. Click on the required .NET Framework Version.

Step 4. Click on Download .NET Framework 4.7.1 Developer Pack.

Step 5. The Framework’s executable file will be downloaded automatically. If not, click on the link shown below.

Step 6. Click on Downloads to see the progress of the executable. Once it is successfully downloaded, click on it.

Step 7. Check that I agree to the license terms and conditions.

Step 8. Click on Install.

Installation is in progress.

Step 9. The framework was installed successfully. Click on Close.

Step 10. Restart the PC and start using the Framework in Visual Studio.
