MVC4 CSS Style sheet.

Question

How to link to the css style sheet in MVC4. Can someone point me to a tutorial. I am adding a default template to the MVC4 project and I am struggling.

Hi David, Well, you ca add it your view directly with or without using Master Page (_Layout). ---------------------------------------------------------- //View with no master page @{ Layout = null ; } html xmlns = "http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" > head > title > MyCSS - No Master Layout title > link href = " @ Url.Content( "~/myCss.css" ) " rel = "stylesheet" type = "text/css" /> head > body > Applying CSS style without Master Layout. body > html > --------------------------------------------------------- or you can just refer the css file inside your master layout. So, not to mention that the line I should point is: link href = " @ Url.Content( "~/myCss.css" ) " rel = "stylesheet" /> in Head section of the page. Hope it helps :)

I'm not modifying or updating a template, I adding a new template. I understand the beginning phases of the MvC. I just want to know if there is an easier way to add new templates to the main layout amd nousing thebdefault template. I haven't played with code yet. I will try as soon as I get home.

As I explained already, It didn't allow me to do so. After uploading the files it shows an error page, may be due to file size I'm not sure.

I ve been googling all day trying to find good examples. I only found examples regardng the normal ASP application. But I have not founf and good example yet regarding ASP MVC4 . I will check the link in two hours. Also why did you load the attachment on this thread instead of mediafire

Actually I tried to attach a sample application for a better understanding on this matter but I don't know why the portal didn't allow me, shows an error after the file got uploaded every time.
