Time will tell if Outlook.com will Kill Gmail but it has already killed Hotmail.

So, I've been thinking to move away from Gmail for a while and eventually, I got a Hotmail account this week. Microsoft didn't even warn me that I am wasting my time.

Today, when I go to Hotmail.com, it is being redirected to Outlook.com. Microsoft announced Office.com as the one and only email and communication service. 

However, what I still find confusing is when you go to change your profile or do anything else, you will still see Live.com URL and some Hotmail settings.

You will also see an interface that hits a social networking/connectivity similar to Google+ and LinkedIn.  I know it is just preview but I am hoping the Outlook team cleans it up and make it simpler and easier to use.

However, it seems like Live.com is the main social profile
